Patient may not eat, drink, or chew
anything for eight hours prior to the
appointment. Smoking is not advised. Patient must also abstain
from
alcohol or street drugs for 48-hr. prior to the procedure.
We are a private OB/GYN practice and
unlike clinics, there is no 2-7 hour
office wait. When you get to the office be prepared
to stay for 1 hour.
The reason for the 1 hour is for patient information, lab
work, ultrasound,
consultation and after the surgical procedure you will stay
in the recovery
room until medications wear off.
Please arrange for the children to
be left at home.
Every Patient's blood is tested for
the RH factor and anemia.
Payment is required on the day of
the service.
New York OB/GYN Associates is pleased
to accept most major health
insurance and HMO plans. Other forms of payment are Visa,
Mastercard,
American Express and Cash. Sorry, personal checks cannot be
accepted.
Positive I.D. is required for health
insurance and credit card payments.
